อาทิตย์นี้ทีมงานวันว่างขอรำลึกถึงวันสำคัญของมิตรประเทศอย่างฝรั่งเศส ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องทั้งทางวัฒนธรรม และ ค้าขายกันมายาวนานและคงเป็นที่ทราบ กันดีในหมู่คนไทยที่สนใจประวัติศาสตร์ทางยุโรปว่า วันที่ 14 ก.ค. นั้นเป็นวันรำลึกถึง วันชาติฝรั่งเศส ความเป็นมาของวันนี้เป็นอย่างไรนั้น ทางทีมงานวันว่างได้ค้นหาข้อมูล มาเป็นเกร็ดความรู้แก่ท่านผู้อ่าน มีรายละเอียดดังนี

วัน Bastille คือวันที่ 14 กรกฏาคม เป็นวันที่คุก Bastille:ซึ่งคุมขัง นักโทษทางการเมืองในฝรั่งเศสถูกทำลายโดยพลังประชาชน วันนี้เปรียบเสมือนสัญลักษณ์ ของการสิ้นสุดการปกครองแบบราชาธิปไตยในประเทศฝรั่งเศส และเริ่มต้นศักราชของ การปกครองแบบสาธารณรัฐเป็นครั้งแรก

ในวันหยุดประจำชาติวันนี้ คือห้วงเวลาที่ประชาชนชาวฝรั่งเศสจะร่วมกันรำลึกถึง การก่อตั้งสาธารณรัฐ อีกทั้งในวันนี้ยังเป็นวันที่เปรียบเสมือนกับรากเหง้าประวัติศาสตร์ ของการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองอันน่าจดจำ ซึ่งลำดับเหตุการณ์โดยสังเขปในครั้งนั้น มีรายละเอียดที่น่าสนใจดังนี้

5 พฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 1789 ; บรรดาเหล่าขุนนางในระบอบการปกครอง แบบราชาธิปไตยเปิดประชุมสภาขุนนางทันทีที่ พวกเขาได้ข่าวว่า บรรดาชนชั้นกรรมมาชีพ ซึ่งเป็นประชากรส่วนใหญ่ของสังคมฝรั่งเศสใน สมัยนั้น เรียกร้องให้เปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครอง ให้เป็นระบอบสาธารณรัฐ รวมทั้งให้มีการ ร่างรัฐธรรมนูญและก่อตั้งรัฐสภาแห่งชาติ

20 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 1789 ; ตัวแทนของคณะก่อการจากชนชั้นกรรมมาชีพ ได้กระทำสัตยาบรรณร่วมกัน ที่เรียกว่า Jeu de Paume ซึ่งจารึกไว้ว่า เหล่าคณะผู้ก่อการจะไม่ แตกแยกกันจนกว่าจะมีการร่างรัฐธรรมนูญเป็น ผลสำเร็จ แนวความคิดของคณะผู้ก่อการ ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างยิ่งยวดจากประชาชนชาว ฝรั่งเศสที่ต้องต่อสู้กับความแร้นแค้น และสภาวะเสื่อมถอยของสังคมในสมัยนั้น ในขณะที่แนวความคิดนี้ขัดแย้งกันอย่างสิ้นเชิง กับชนชั้นขุนนาง

14 กรกฏาคม ค.ศ. 1789 ;เมื่อมีแนวร่วมมากขึ้นทำคณะปฏิวัติ แข็งแกร่งขึ้นทุกขณะ ประชาชนในปารีสได้รวมตัวกันเดินขบวนไปยังคุก Bastille เพื่อ ปลดปล่อยนักโทษทางการเมืองที่มีความเห็นไม่ตรงกันกับบรรดาเหล่าขุนนาง

ความล่มสลายของคุก Bastille ภายใน 1 วันด้วยพลังประชาชนทำให้การปฏิวัติประสบ ผลสำเร็จอย่างรวดเร็ว

16 กรกฎาคม ค.ศ. 1789 ; การปฏิวัติประสบผลสำเร็จ ความล่มสลาย ของคุก Bastille กลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งเสรีภาพ และประชาธิปไตย ของชาวฝรั่งเศส ทุกคนตราบจนกระทั่งทุกวันนี้

German killed in Pattaya shooting

(dpa) - A gunman riding pillion on a motorcycle on Monday shot dead a 64-year-old retired German policeman in the beach resort city of Pattaya, police said.

Heinrich Hermann Friedrich, from Kalisch, Germany, was shot dead at 12:10 am Monday as he was walking to his residence at Pattaya, where the retired policeman has lived for the past eight years.

Eyewitnesses said Friedrich was shot by an unidentified assailant riding pillion on a motorcycle. He took four bullets in his head, back, chest and left leg.

Police said Friedrich's former Thai wife was the prime suspect in the murder.

"According to Friedrich's current Thai wife he had been having problems with his first wife over the sale of some property," Pattaya Pol Sub-Lt Nittipumi Bootwong told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa in a telephone interview.

Cambodia air crash may have killed 20

Phnom Penh (dpa) - A plane in Cambodia carrying about 20 passengers and crew was believed to have gone down in thick jungle south of Phnom Penh, an aviation official said Monday.

The official, who declined to be named, said search parties were being dispatched to Kampot province, about 150 kilometres from the capital, but there was no confirmation yet as to the exact location of the crash. Foreigners were believed to be among the missing.

He declined to immediately confirm the name of the charter company operating the flight but said the missing plane was believed to be a Russian-made aircraft that had been making a scheduled flight from Siem Reap, the gateway to the famed Angkor temples, to the beach resort of Sihanoukville.

The plane took off from the northern town of Siem Reap early Monday and lost contact at around 11 am, he said. Aircraft of its type have a capacity of around 16 passengers and usually carry four crew.

Sihanoukville officially reopened a regional airport earlier this year, and tourism officials have been heavily promoting flights direct from Angkor, the nation's top tourist draw, to that area's pristine beaches, hoping to boost the country's vital tourism industry.

Festival international du film de Bangkok – du 19 au 29 juillet 2007

Une fois par an, Bangkok se veut la vitrine du cinéma international à travers son festival qui sélectionne plus d’une centaine de films et courts-métrages parmi les plus brillants venus des quatre coins du monde.

Le Festival international du film de Bangkok participe aussi à l’émergence de jeunes réalisateurs et artistes d’Asie et plus particulièrement de l’Asie du Sud-Est.

La Fête 2007 - du 6 au 28 juin 2007

Du 6 au 28 juin 2007 et pour la quatrième année consécutive, « La Fête » revient à Bangkok ! Désormais ancré dans le paysage culturel de la ville, le festival culturel français vous étonnera une fois encore à travers 13 manifestations éclectiques. Du Ballet de Biarritz au Festival de Musique Electronique en passant par le cinéma, le cirque et l’art contemporain : qualité, « mélange des genres » et originalité restent les maîtres mots de cette programmation haute en couleurs.

ARTS DE LA SCENE

Les Créatures du Ballet de Biarritz ouvriront cette nouvelle édition en dansant. Conjuguant éléments contemporains et tradition classique, elles évoqueront la Genèse et l’histoire de la danse. Le Bangkok Symphony Orchestra offrira un concert exceptionnel dirigé pour l’occasion par Michaël Cousteau et accompagné de la meilleure soliste de l’année 2006 en France, Anne Gastinel.Fort de leur engouement, Le French Flair et la Fête de la Musique reviennent à Bangkok pour quatre soirées incontournables. Joakim nous donnera le ton, Missill le rythme, High Tone les vibrations. Quant au duo The Penelopes, il nous livrera une dernière note electro pop au Bed Supperclub.

ARTS VISUELS

Cette année, la coopération franco-thaïlandaise sera particulièrement mise en lumière à travers l’intervention de plusieurs artistes thaïlandais ayant participé au festival « Tout à fait Thaï » en France.

CINEMA

Comme chaque année, le Festival du Film Français à Bangkok proposera au public de découvrir une dizaine de long-métrages inédits en Thaïlande.

VIVE LA FETE EN FRANCAIS

Pour la deuxième fois, les élèves et étudiants sont invités le 9 juin à célébrer leur amour du français et de « La Fête » en participant à des concours divertissants de théâtre, de karaoké et de poésie.
